Lakes Abound

In the surrounding areas of Grizzly Ranch, visitors are met with more than 100 alpine lakes — including 50 in the nearby Lakes Basin area — for fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing, plus 1,000 miles of shoreline for hiking exist.

Lake Davis, renowned for its trophy trout fishing and boating, is only five minutes up the road from Grizzly Ranch. Then there's Lake Almanor –a water-sport mecca with summer surface temperatures of 75 degrees, ideal for water-skiing as is nearby Frenchman’s Lake.

Rivers, Streams and...Rafting!

This area is graced with 1,000 miles of prized rivers and streams, and Big Grizzly Creek is just steps away from each doorway.

The three forks of the legendary Feather River, a federally-designated "Wild and Scenic River", gives rafters a ride of a lifetime with breathtaking whitewater rafting.

But, prefer to fish? Here you’ll find a fishing mecca.
